Nancy regrets she is unable to answer your personal questions about your eating and exercise program, weight management frustrations, or sports nutrition concerns. You may email Nancy with general questions about her books, teaching materials or speaking availability.

You can find answers to many of your questions in her Sports Nutrition Guidebook; it has chapters on protein, vegetarian diets, calorie needs, weight reduction, weight gain, disordered eating and most other topics of interest to active people.

If you want personalized advice, your best bet it to find a local nutrition expert via the American Dietetic Association's referral network: www.eatright.org. Simply put your zip code into the referral network to get a list of sports dietitians in your area.

If you live in the Boston-area and want to schedule an appointment for a private nutrition consultation with Nancy, please call at Healthworks at 617-383-6100.

If you want information on how to become a sports nutritionist, please visit the website for SCAN, the sports nutrition division of the American Dietetic Association: www.SCANdpg.org. Nancy's Sports Nutrition Guidebook also offers career information on page 387.
